Built by solving a real venture capital problem.
VCM didn't begin with a business plan.
It began in 1999 when our founder's wife, the CFO of a venture capital fund, was struggling with quarter-end reporting. Like many VC finance teams at the time, she was relying on spreadsheets and manual processes that were never designed for venture capital.
So we built software to solve her problem.
What started as a solution for one fund evolved into software trusted by venture capital firms around the world.
Over the last 25 years, as venture capital has become more sophisticated, so has VCM. We have evolved from the accounting side of quarterly reporting, through cap table management with rights-aware modelling, to institutional-quality valuation workflows and sophisticated fair value calculations.
